Mentaiko Spring Onion Dry Blended Noodles

Lunch @ "XiXi Bistrot", an up and coming fusion food bistro.

 

Nothing western here - more of a fuse of Shanghai style noodles with Japanese Mentaiko.

 

The noodles were aromatically flavoured with sauteed spring onion and I can even taste roasted sesame. Unfortunately, I think there was too little Mentaiko added to deeply infuse this Japanese element and in the end, I got a lot more Shanghai and almost no Japanese.
