叉烧肠粉 (Steamed Rice Rolls With BBQ Pork Filling)

Lunch @ Michelin 1-Star "何洪记" (Ho Hung Kee).

 

Considering this was a Michelin 1-Star joint, I was terribly disappointed by the steamed rice rolls. The rice rolls looked deceptively thin but tasted starchy and thick. It overwhelmed the sweetness of the Char Siew (BBQ Pork) and that tender balance I was seeking was not to be found.
