I love these springy "rubber bands" alkaline aroma noodles. (I still remember the days from my Junior College years when my classmates will deride this canteen stall serving these noodles as inferior - how ignorant)
Here, the dumplings (wontons) were large - big bountiful mouthfuls but they were just a smidgen fishy.....and the noodles did have a rather strong whiff of alkaline waters, although both really did not rob the noodles of its legendary "deliciousness".
