Peasant Confit
A most lovely late lunch @ "Cafe Imperial", an institution in the City!
Another savoury dish at my behest.
It turned out brilliant as well. A couple of friends at the table had never had peasant before so this was something new.
The peasant was tender, nicely flavoured and paired so smoothly with the silky and butter potato mash. Another plate worth licking off everything for.
