Raw Salmon Starter/Amuse Bouche

Dinner @ "Restaurant La Rotonde" (The less prestigious sibling of the Michelin-starred "The Alcron").

 

I do not enjoy raw fish but thought I will throw the little piece into my mouth anyway. (Raw fish always reminded me of jelly that had gone bad in some ways). I was thankful for that spicy and flavourful pipette of sauce, which was a Thai-spices and ginger infused concoction, which masked the fishy taste of the salmon perfectly well. The flavoured maltodextrin (white powder), or so I assumed was flavoured, did nothing much as I cannot discern the flavour of the ingredient that had been plated on.
