小馆馋人豆腐 (Tantalising Tofu)

Lunch @ "七寻八找胡同菜", a restaurant hidden in a Hutong (alley), serving old world food to new world customers.

 

Mate ordered it, intrigued by the tag of "tantalising". It turned out to be a Sichuan Mapo Tofu inspired dish, almost right down to the wire, except for the addition of prawns.

 

Spicy, Numbing, Thick, Silky and Umami - Pretty Tantalising indeed!
