Trio Of Tacos (Slow Roasted Pork Belly-Beef-Chorizo Verde)

Earlier, I had visited "Maya". "Mayita" is a newer sister restaurant and I popped in with a mate for lunch.

 

Unfortunately, both beef and Chorizo Verde were forgettable affairs. Didn't hit any pings of wonderment in taste or flavours. In fact, I am still kinda hunting their the Chorizo in "Chorizo Verde".

 

The mistress that managed to seduce me was the slow roasted pork belly, served with a tangy mango salad - it popped and hit all the right notes. It reminded me of slightly smokier Char Siew with those slightly burnt edges. This combo really sang.
