冰皮饼-绿豆 (Snow Skin Biscuit With Mung Bean Paste)

This is the version from "厚记".

 

Traditional Chinese snacks made with steamed sweetened glutinous rice flour "snow skin" with a sweetened mung bean paste centre. The "snow skin" is slightly dense and chewy while the mung bean paste is smooth and silky - a perfect marriage of texture.

 

I love this so much (and I always love it as a boy), I bought a personal box for myself to enjoy.
