Pigeon Salad
Lunch @ 'Tomatitos' for a second time.
Blackpepper! Lots of it.
And I do not mean the crushed or cracked form but the entire blackpepper berries.
The salad was lush and nicely fragrant with olive oil. I like the pickled green chillies - they added lovely explosions of tangy heat and I love a good spicy kick and wham.
The pigeon, in little drumlets and wings - while tender as they are, was quite uninspiring and left no lasting impressions.
My biggest dislike were the oh-too-many blackpepper berries scattered in the salad. I like blackpepper but in overdose, they can be bitter and I dislike biting into so many round hard bits in my salad.
