French Burger With Foie Gra Patty & Green Salad

A French Burger? The dead chefs of classical French cuisines must be groaning and turning in their graves.

 

I had my patty well done (the ONLY way to prepare minced meat patty due to E.Coli concerns!) unless the meat is freshly minced using the freshest cut of meat and prepared instantly.

 

It wasn't spectacular. It was edible. Maybe the chef resented having a trashy burger on their menu? There was no oomph, no ooooo and no wow. It was just that - a burger. The Foie Gra did no wonders and the sauce wasn't sparkling, Considering what I think the chef can do with it, I was disappointed.
