Traditional Kunming Rice Noodle Soup

Dinner @ "Slurp!", a Yunnanese noodle place.

 

A hot (copper) pot of rice noodles soup on a cold wintery evening is a warmly welcomed decision. The soup broth arrived lightly savoury but quickly turned robust once the dried chillies, fermented vegetable and chopped chives were mixed in.

 

My only lament - there was too little of the minced pork fat and I was (really) hoping for a more generous serving.
