Tiramisu

Lunch @ The Fissler Academy Cafe (FA Cafe) fronted by Enzo Coccia, the Italian Pizza maestro.

 

Disappointed!

 

First, the micro-herbs. NO PLACE topping a dessert. I took my first scoop of the Tiramisu and the very first thing I tasted was the explosion of herbaceous greenness! Note to dessert chef: Stay off the micro-herbs for desserts!

 

Then, where are the 'perk me up' tastes of Strega and the Sambuca? Considering this is an Italian restaurant, the Expresso is kinda muted too. Where are the caffeine punches?

 

This Tiramisu is a monstrous travesty of a Marscapone heavy dessert - rich and creamy but yet so bland and boring. Could it be a bend towards local preferences? If so, then I think it's WAY wrong.

 

Pity.
