Fried Duck Egg, Black Pudding, Sour Dough & Anchovy Dressing

Lunch @ "The Social Commune", a modern Spanish Tapas joint, under the Jason Atherton Group of restaurants.

 

A very rich & very savoury dish - decadently supple and vibrant in taste. The Black Pudding, meaty, livery and moist, was the gel that held up this dish, defining it's briliant presence.

 

I love the refreshing crunch of the watercresses - they contrasted so starkingly but yet so perfectly with the robustness of Black Pudding.
