黄焖鸡 (Braised Chicken)

Lunch @ "洛阳魏记凉皮黄焖鸡".

 

This is a Sichuan dish but somehow one can find it everywhere in Luoyang.

 

But I liked it. What was to hate?

Chicken tenderly braised with a sultry aroma of sesame oil and lightly spiced - just perfect to wash down any carbo - be it rice or noodles.
