馄饨干面 (Dry Wonton Mee)
The version from "金温州大餛飩".
NOT the Cantonese or Hong Kong version. The wontons here are huge, and made with minced pork. They are also served with white noodles (not the stringy rubber-band like yellowish noodles in Guangzhou or Hong Kong), and in this dry version, with preserved vegetable and some gravy.
It's about 1.30 and I was really hungry. I wolfed it down like there was no tomorrow.
The wontons were meaty with the right balance between fat and meat, and greatly satisfying.
The noodles were al dente, and the preserved vegetable added a third exciting element to the overall taste, making it all too alluring a moreish sensation to resist.
