鵪鶉蛋蝦餅 (Fried Quail Eggs With Prawns & Pineapple)

Night out in Liouhe Night Market (六合夜市) in Gaoxiong.

 

Street food! A very Japanese-inspired one.

Quail eggs are fried in moulds, topped with a prawn and served with mayonnaise dressing, pineapple pieces and a sprinkling of seaweed powder.

 

They make lovely snacks - seafoody, fruity, creamy and fried-oily all at the same time.
