"鄭老牌" is a very popular fruit juice stall in the night market. Lots of accolades, including pictures taken with the President.
Now, I have no idea decorative plants could be consumed but seemingly the juices of this plant (which resembled a petrified rose or lotus) is good for complexion, helps to keep the body balanced as well as something of a hangover cure.
The taste is really unique. Has a green sharpness, almost green apple like but there are also fruity and floral hints of grapes and pears. Quite tart and refreshing in fact, but there is a very mild earthy finish to the taste and it does get more astringent as more is being consumed.
