燒肉飯 (BBQ Pork Rice)

The version from "永樂燒肉飯".

 

The eatery is packed. PACKED, as in capital letters.

It is 10pm at night and yet there are so many folks who had dropped in for a nosh.

 

Can you blame them?

This little small bowl of heaven was packed with flavour.

Perfectly BBQed pork, served with fermented bamboo and pickled ginger on rice with a wedge of lime, with a Japanese-styled side salad.

Very moreish. Impossible not to finish the bowl.
