凤梨酥 (Pineapple Tarts)

Pastries from "克林台包".

 

I find this version from the shop in Tainan, a lot more acceptable than other versions I have encountered in Taiwan. (Have mentioned earlier that I am not a fan of Taiwanese pineapple tarts) The fact is, of course that I like it, is because it tasted more like the biscuit I grew up with and love (and still do)
