咖喱棺材板 (Curry Filling Toast)

Snacking @ "赤崁棺材板", almost a culinary institution in Tainan.

 

A newer variety, with a curried filling.

I am a little mixed about this. The curry is good, spicy and warm, earthy and robust.

BUT somehow, its in-your-face taste is a tad too much in my face, as it tasted like curry toast rather than toast with a curry filling.

 

Still, it was spectacularly tasty but for once, tossed between the 2, I am leaning my choice towards the original creamy filling.
