Deungsim Gui (Korean Grilled Beef) AFTER

When the crust formed and the smell of meat permeated the air, my colleagues turned around and proclaimed "Done!" and invited myself to quickly consume the chunks before they get too charred.

 

They were quite lovely actually. The insides were umami, tender and juicy. The exterior was meaty, smoky, grilled and caramelised.

 

A beautiful way to enjoy beef.
