Korean Wild Leek (Ramp) Salad

My colleagues promised the best Doenjang Jigae (Korean Fermented Bean Paste Stew).

 

And they threw in some lovely Gui (Korean Grilled Beef) to go along with the soup.

 

This alliaceous, pungent and spicy wild leek salad was served to pair with the grilled beef. The pungency is amazing. On its own, it was just offending but threw a mouthful of it with the pieces of barbecued grilled beef and they made a perfect pairing on the palette.
