Pickled Radish With Wasabi

Dinner at my favourite Dakgalbi eatery.

This is a double whammy hit of pungency combining the many types of isothiocyanates found in radish and wasabi for that wicked pungent kick up the nose.

It is fairly common elsewhere; this was served in my favourite Korean restaurant back home in Singapore too. The radishes had been sliced wafer thin and then pickled.

You either embrace it or turn it away.
