Icheon Rice Meal

Lunch!!

 

Icheon is a region in South Korea famed for its rice. (There is in fact, an Icheon Rice Festival).

 

I was not prepared for the meal. Mouth-opening spectacular. All the dishes for lunch were placed on a large wooden "serving board" and then slided into place onto the table.

 

Korea cuisine is famous for its Banchan but this has to be the mother of all Banchan(s).
