Oh to be young again
Last day of Vignweek2023 with the prompt Contrasting Reflections. I wasn’t going to build for this as I had already missed two days but had an idea while talking with @paulvillemocs about the theme.
This uses a technique from the 1860’s called Pepper’s Ghost which is an illusion that uses a well lit subject reflecting off of a hidden piece of glass to create the appearance that something is there when it’s not. I used this technique to create the reflection of his younger self in the water. Light source is an older power functions light with the battery box hidden underneath the frame.
