Skyrim – Marketplace in Riften

Like I mentioned before, I’m into games at the moment and as a result, they became a source of inspiration for this and some of my next MOCs.

 

Skyrim impressed me deeply (and still does, by the way, because after more than 120 hours, I’m still far from being half the way through the game).

I entered Riften for the first time at 3.00 a. m. when I was ill in RL and hated the arrogant people there instantly (though I love the typical Riften birches).

But I was fascinated by the architecture and in the end, Riften was the place where I married my husband.

 

I originally planned to build the whole marketplace and a few of the channels, but my last MOC was already a huge one and the next two (“Dragon Age: Inquisition” and “Elder Scrolls Online”) are large ones, too. Therefore I decided to focus on nice little building techniques.

Speaking of building techniques, the technique I used to build the wall is based on SlyOwl’s incredible idea. He is such an amazing artist.
