Named partially because of the Venezia sweater that I lifted part of the Fair Isle design from. This sweater started off as a grey lump I knit to prove to myself I could knit a sweater I would like... Bad start to a bad sweater. It was too short, the sleeves looked odd and the top didn't fit right. I cut off the top down to about the armpits and reknit up to incorporate the white pattern and the u-neck collar. I then unraveled part of the bottom and the sleeves and added two inches to the sleeves and about 5 inches to the body of the sweater. I haven't taken it off since I finished it.
