Timer Shot

I love taking photos of photographers taking photos. This photographer first took a photo of a companion standing the mist at the base of Skógarfoss in South Iceland. In order to get his shot and avoid the crowds gathered at the bas of the falls he took his shot while standing in the Skógá River. After some coaxing, he got his subject to stand on some rocks at the edge of the river while he set up the shot and took a number of images. After a while he set a timer shutter release and joined her in the photo. Originally, she looked a little aprehensive but became animated when he joined her in the photo The waterfall is the last and most spectacular of a series of falls that are found on the Skógá River as it heads down the edge Eyjafjöll ( The Island Mountains). As it falls over the last cliff it creates a falls 203 feet high (62 meters) and almost 50 feet (15 meters) wide.
