This week thousands of Friends of the Earth supporters around the world took action calling for the release of 20 year old Miguel Correa, who has been working with Friends of the Earth Paraguay.
Today we celebrate his freedom.
His release is fantastic news, a huge relief for his family and friends, and testament to what can be achieved when we work together.
While we celebrate his freedom we continue to support our Paraguayan colleagues' call for a full investigation into the deadly clashes that led to his wrongful arrest.
