an afternoon photowalk, creekside, and a subsequent edit session yielded these treatments of a minimally photogenic scene. This warm toned treatment was begun in Adobe LightRoom, and continued, including a quick dip in the Lab colorspace and a touch of the "Orton" technique, in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
The color version below also has some "Orton"iization, but lacked the Lab mode sidetrip.
