Roses - Aspect

Another in the series of those eternally declining roses.. I shot this one a couple of weeks ago, but had decided to 'give you a break' from them. ;-)

As in other views in the series, the image was imported into Adobe Lightroom, tweaked and converted to a tiff for Photoshop, where other tweaks were liberally applied.

Lighting was by handheld off-camera flash modified with a diffuser/softbox made from a handy CD "cakebox" cylinder, somewhat snooted to localize/direct the light.
