panther medium german tank (46 tons !!! ) was the response vs the awesome soviet T34 ( 32 tons ) !!!

first used at kursk during summer 1943 was terribly bad !!!

due to too early engagement !!!

after some modification the panther was one of the best tank of the ww2 using is very long high velocity 75mm maingun very good in armor piercing !!!

quiet reliable and well sloped ( the flanks were not armored enough )

this tank was a real danger for allied tank crews
