There was quite a crowd for the Pershing Square Pillow Fight. I thought it would be a good opportunity to take pictures. Clearly, I wasn't the only one.

 

Out of about 500 shots, there's not one I'm completely satisfied with.

 

notes for improvement:

-pay attention to composition/framing shots. it's all about timing/positioning

-without some effort, group melee action shots are just pictures of peoples' backs

 

-autofocus tends to focus on things floating in the air (feathers) rather than the subjects I'd like to capture behind them. Perhaps landscape/infinity mode would help?

-burst mode focusing isn't great either
