Description: Tilford L. Otis was employed by the Kittitas County Abstract Company. He and his wife Selma were active in community affairs. Elbert Honeycutt was the son of John and Margaret Honeycutt who came to Ellensburg in 1918 to operate a funeral home. John was born in 1911 and attended the Ellensburg public schools. He attended Washington State Normal School, the University of Washington and New York University. John became an administrator for many large public school districts in the State of Washington. He married Iona Zamyow in 1941. John always kept very close ties to the Kittitas Valley.
