Kiona baseball team
Description: Twelve young baseball players sit in front of a store. The back row sits on the boardwalk and the front row sits in the dusty street. The men are dressed in various baseball uniforms. Most are Kiona uniforms, one is Kennewick, one has the letter H with a letter V inside a diamond, and one has a C. A little girl, her hair in ringlets, is seated on a cloth in front of the men. She is shielding her eyes from the sun with her hand. There is an awning on the store, and inside the windows, periodicals are on display. Flyers on the windows announce a baseball game between Benton City and Prosser Sunday May 21. May 21 fell on a Sunday in the years 1905 and 1911. These years would have fallen within the scope of the collection of negatives.
