Kennewick Community Celebration - Port Townsend, WA
Jan. 6, 2012 -- Port Townsend, Washington
Members of the public, officials from WSF, Vigor and Washington State government gathered in Port Townsend for a community celebration for the new Washington state ferry Kennewick. It's the third 64-car ferry built for the state under a $213 million contract with Vigor Shipyards, formerly Todd Pacific. The Kennewick follows the Salish that went into service in July 2011 and the Chetzemoka that began service in November 2010.
