In this photo, which looks north, the southern bridge over I-5 provides a connection for Wapato Way. The northern bridge will carry the future SR 167 expressway and features a diverging diamond interchange which will help people move more smoothly and efficiently.
The SR 167 Completion Project is part of our Puget Sound Gateway Program which completes critical inks in out highway and freight network. It will build an important new connection to the Port of Tacoma, improve the movement of freight and reduce congestion on local roads and highways.
