On Oct. 29, 2020, contractor crews officially completed installing a single-lane roundabout on State Route 9 at 108th Street Northeast in Marysville. This project, which broke ground in summer 2018, removed the stop signs that were controlling turn movements onto the highway from 108th. This configuration produced an increased risk of collision. Replacing this intersection with a roundabout reduces the risk of rear-end and t-bone collisions.
