US 2 Car Retrieval in Perspective
Shortly before 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, a Subaru station wagon driven by a woman left US 2 westbound, about 7-1/2 miles east of the Stevens Pass summit and ended up about 150' off the roadway in Nason Creek. WSP and WSDOT crews assisted in getting the shaken woman out of the car and up the bank and kept her warm until the ambulance arrived that took her to Leavenworth to be checked for any injuries.
