SR 167 Green River flooding preparations

Here you can see the sandbags lined up behind concrete barrier on northbound SR 167 just north of 277th Street in Kent.

 

The sandbags keep the water from hitting the pavement and the concrete barrier prevents cars from hitting the sandbags. As I said before, these bags are heavy, hard and uneven. You really wouldn't want to hit them. ^tjh
