Alaskan Way shoulder demolition

Before the utility relocation work could begin for the S. Holgate to S. King Viaduct Replacement Project, crews made several pedestrian and bicycle improvements to Alaskan Way S. in July and August. Crews demolished the east shoulder of Alaskan Way S. to make way for a multi-use path to get bicyles and pedestrians safely through the construction zone.
