In March 2017, Ryan Smith (fb photographer friend) and I conducted our first workshop together in Arches National Park.

 

Once we get to our site, I set up the low level accent lights as Ryan ensures everyones camera setting are ready to go and everyone has their composition set.

 

Since so many like the human element photo I took 2-3 years earlier at the North Window, we usually do that for each of our workshop groups before moving on to other compositions with the arches and the Milky Way.

 

Before the workshop began, we went to many different areas scouting and documenting areas for the workshop there. Having completed that, we were ready for the fun to begin.
