UP SD70M 2001, Chgo-Ash St

May of 2006 found three of us dispatchers strolling along the tracks on a dispatcher's road trip, a walking road trip. There were a lot of stopped trains for us to see and the railroad seemed to be like a coal conveyor belt when stuff did move. Meanwhile, over on the CJ side there were trains parked, too, but this eastbound with an Olympic torch leader was moving at Ash Street. It was an interesting trip but my feet were really sore, so sore that I couldn't wait to get back to the desk.
