Catch of the Day
I've had a kind of hiatus lately, not touching anything photography related. But after running some errands yesterday, we swung through Dyer on our way home. The scanner came alive with a westbound calling a track foreman for permission through his work limits. When he responded and gave the 1032 the OK to proceed, I knew we might have a nice old Illinois Central SD70 leading. Sure enough, the big black deathstar was up front, but he certainly wasn't alone. There were three more IC SD70s in the consist, along with a blue GE leaser and two other old CN EMDs, the last one a striped GP38-2W. Not bad for getting back in the swing of things.
