Call it Grand Trunk Tuesday. The Good Track road doing what it liked to do, run like hell. It's a hazy late afternoon in Lansing, IL and the Trunk is adding to the haze with a little diesel exhaust as a GP9 and GP18 run long hood forward, about to cross Torrence Ave. Seems like no other railroad ran in ChcagoLand as fast as the Trunk did, doing 50 per even in congested Harvey. It was a joy to watch, and having back to back black high hoods was icing on the cake.
