Western Maryland GP9 6410, Chicago- 75th St rescan
I rescanned this shot and then realized I might not have posted this particular view. Anyway, there's a B&OCT crew on board and they've just delivered a transfer to the Belt at Clearing. They're passing 75th St tower on their way back to Barr Yard. Back then, most railroads delivered their own transfers to the other railroads in ChicagoLand, and returned home light. It made for interesting sights; you could expect to see just about anything, and you certainly did. I was working at 75th when I grabbed this shot, but of course, I didn't write down the Run # of this crew. Funky lead unit leads me to believe that they were blind on the Wild Mary....
