Helping your users is always nice
Here's a good example of a site that gets 'it' - 'it' in this case meaning 'helping your users complete a routine task'. While most Web users know how to confirm their registration to a site, it's nice that this company does little things like circle where you're supposed to click, and give you plenty of information about the process. Nicely done!
By the way this site also has nice goodies like a free trial for their product (a web survey product) and also white pages on best practices for successful surveys, etc. In a crowded field, these little items and thoughtfulness translate into distinctive competitive advantages. I ended up using SurveyMonkey because the survey I needed to do was relatively small (under 30 questions), but now I'll remember this site next time I do some more surveying.
