SayShea Designs

Came across Shea Cooper's site via Le'Saric's site (a client of here). Really beautiful work. I like designers who blend obviously creative work (like using Vector based illustration without overdoing it) with clear, professional sites. They also all look very WordPress ready, or have been built using WordPress, which obviously rocks in my book :)

 

I would probably add a bit more of a sell about her (i.e. more about what she does and how she does it), because often highly visual designers just let the work they've done speak for themselves - which is fine (especially if graphics are your bread and butter). What sets someone apart for me is finding about more about that person, their inspirations during the project, any obstacles, and how they met them . Even if it's just a mockup for a potential client that doesn't become a full project, learning more about what they did and what they were going after adds something that sets them apart from a image of the final product.

 

Anyway, good work does speak for itself, so I'll be quiet now. She also seems to have a lot of chocolate companies as her clients - which is obviously the sign of a smart, smart woman :)
