The Bond of Mother and Child

Blue Tit (Parus Caerleus)

My camera is ever ready when I am on the computer. We have bird feeders right outside the window. I have taken countless shots of the feathered visitors. Unfortunately, they all come out blurred or not in shot or just rubbish.

Today whilst snapping the mother, I spotted the baby in a tree to the left. I decided to concentrate there. Sure enough the mother came back and started feeding the chick. I know these shots are not perfect, they were taken through a window for starters. The feeding aspect makes them pretty exciting to me, so I'm forgiving myself for any other short comings. The photo 'Open Wide' amazes me. The mother is virtually inside the chicks mouth. The spittle between the two birds on 'Bond' was an unexpected bonus.
