Redwing in our back garden

This last frosty week has seen Song Thrush, Goldcrest and now Redwing all making debut appearances at the Boyo's.

Great as it is to see these birds up close, it is a bit worrying.

They must be getting a bit desperate for food to be venturing into suburbia.

That redwing was a real treat though, and I think the pictures show quite clearly how it got it's name.
